Discover the updated criteria to qualify for government grants in the UK at no cost:

• Homeownership or renting from a private landlord (with landlord permission)
• Occupant receiving one of the listed qualifying benefits OR
• Household income below £31,000 annually OR having a child under 5 OR being over 65 with vulnerabilities or health conditions
• Susceptibility to residing in a cold home
• Current EPC rating of D, E, F, or G for homeowners or E, F, or G for tenants
• Priority given to homes with inefficient heating systems and minimal insulation

• Housing Benefit (new!)
• Child Benefit

• Universal Credit (UC)
• Child Tax Credits (CTC)
• Working Tax Credit (WTC)
• Pension Credit Guarantee Credit

Our partners collaborate with various UK councils eligible for participation in the ECO4 Flex schemes. If you aren’t receiving benefits from the UK government, you may still qualify for the Energy Company Obligation Scheme through ECO4 Flex options.

This could entitle you to a replacement gas boiler, a first-time central heating grant (if you don’t have a boiler), an insulation grant, or an electric heaters grant – all either free or highly subsidized under the Government ECO4 Scheme.
